I’m here to tell you about a journey…
Stories in My Mother Tongue explores the inextricable relationship between joy and grief and the process of return and rediscovery through the power of healing and acceptance.
Stories in My Mother Tongue asks what it means when the body remembers, how we reclaim lost languages and find your way home while dancing to a rhythm uniquely yours. How, when, and why do we tell the stories that make us whole?
Join Noelle in bringing Stories in my Mother Tongue to Theatre Row in NYC!
Stories in My Mother Tongue has been selected to present in the United Solo Festival at Theatre Row in the heart of the New York City Theatre District on 42nd Street in the Spring and Fall of 2025. The United Solo Festival remains the world's largest solo festival, showcases talent from all over the world, and cultivates a community for established and emerging solo artists. I am thrilled about this opportunity and need your help!
I am launching a campaign to raise $5,000 as I continue to self-produce this work. Your donation will help me pay for fees that come with producing with the festival, offset travel expenses as I am currently based in Philadelphia, and help me pay a team of artists who are supporting me in continuing to share the message of the show. There is no donation too big or too small and your support quite literally gives this show life!
